An informative session and idea exchange between Michelle and Leslie Woolcott of the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) on the topic of addressing sexual harassment in Canadian Mining. We discussed the link between psychological safety, respectful workplaces, and harassment; the importance of a workplace culture of prevention and support (including reporting mechanisms); links to MiHR tools; and how this all ties-into the TSM 2023 Safe, Healthy, & Respectful Workplace Protocol update. Scheduled with intention on The National Day of Rememberance & Action on Violence Against Women, this MiHR Webinar aimed to “Deepen the Dialogue” on this meaningful topic.
