Why Akashic?
Akasha is a sanskrit word meaning “sky”, “space”, or “aether” used to describe a non-physical plane where some believe the knowledge of all entities and life forms are encoded – a cosmic “collective consciousness”.
Akashic Communications was originally (and perhaps ambitiously!) inspired by the desire to tap-into this intangible place that holds infinite possibilities within an unimaginable timeline of life force, learned experience, and collective wisdom.
The sphere + trinity nature of the logo has symbolized many different aspects relating to sustainability and interconnectedness over time including: the natural elements of earth, wind, water, and fire; and the social, governance, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability practice, and remains open to iterative interpretations.
